RIP – Lou Zeldis: Talented Jewelry Designer and Friend

We lost a special person in the world this weekend. Jewelry Designer, Lou Zeldis, has lost his battle with cancer and passed. Lou was such a unique and good person, spiritual and calm. His unique work is treasured by everyone who has worn his one of a kind pieces. He has worked and supported J. Ransom from the beginning.

Lou Zeldis - We will miss you!

His talent and skill with his jewelry will live forever and his caring nature will not be reproduced. He will be missed.

Brad Paisley featured in Cigar Aficionado Magazine wearing J. RANSOM

Congratulations to a friend of J. RANSOM, Brad Paisley for being featured on the cover of this month’s issue of Cigar Aficionado Magazine. Inside he talks about his 2012 tour dubbed “The Virtual Reality World Tour 2012″. For the past 4 years he co-hosted the CMA Award shows with Carrie Underwood (did you know he wrote most of the comedy and dialogue himself??)

J. RANSOM has dressed Brad for many years through his stylist, Jennifer. In this latest shoot, you can see him in some of our clothing and accessories including the new Red Monkey “Dust” Belt.

Things I Love – Candles for the Home

On a cool evening or to set a relaxing mood to a room, nothing is better than a candle. I like to use a votive for a small accent in a corner or on a nightstand in the bedroom such as these from designer, Lisa Carrier.

I choose to use a larger candle in bigger rooms such as the living room or den. I like getting one that looks great even when it is not lit – like these from DL & Company.

In the bathroom, especially during a party, a nice scented candle is perfect. These candles from BURN Candles are great.

Beware of the scent though, don’t put a strong floral scented candle near the dining room or kitchen if you are planning on cooking/eating. The scent may overpower the food. I prefer to use unscented on the table and a citrus/fruit in the kitchen, such as the ILLUME Pineapple Cilantro candle.
